This is a video I recorded on my laptop of me art directing and teaching (trying) how make a better sketch to one of my summer illustration workshop in Tijuana, working on rithym, composition, harmony, scale, and priority. TOOO BAD YOU WONT UNDERSTAND BECAUSE IT IS IN SPANISH, unless of coourse you speak spanish...then all is hunky dory.

Animated video.

Here is a animated video I did recently for a show in Tijuana, it is called "Star rain" I used a original painting and animated it in adobe after effects and then used toonboom for the line animation, please bare with since I taught myself both after effects and toonboom in a month to meet the show's deadline.

El topo illustration and process

Here is the proces for "El Topo" illustration I did last year for terraza dentro del Centro Cultural de España en Mexico (www.ccemx.org ). The theme was to make a illustration for a mural about mexican cinema for the Spain cultural center in MExico city, I choose Alejandro's jodorowsky masterpiece el topo for the assigment.

El topo's son close up, in the movie he dosent shoot his father, this is just a methaphor for the hate the child bared his father.

poster for again my friends 1973 rock band

poster for my friends a local rock band 1973, this was done awhile back for a 15th year celebration of one of Tijuna's oldest music store "La ciruela electrica" who has survived diferent genres of what is cool and good music in tijuana from it's punk rock scene with "Tijuana No" to "Nortec" and the indy rock scene.

The illustration is about going back to the fountain, to the source by choice.
